1upAds is a gaming advertising network which allows publishers to monetize their game related websites and flash based games, and also allows advertisers to reach the targeted gaming traffic.
1upAds uses CPM as its revenue model to pay its publishers. 1upAds doesn’t seek high requirements from publishers but it has few requirements that publishers should fulfill to join this network.
As a publisher, you should own a game related website, or flash based games. Also, your website should receive 10000+ monthly impressions, which i think is not very high. Even small publishers can generate 300+ page-views a day if they use interlinks properly.
1upAds is online since 2010 and running effectively. By the looks of the website, it doesn’t look very attractive and you may feel this ad network a stagnant ad network because they have not updated their copyrights and also, they have not announced any latest news on their blog.
However, they are active on Twitter and respond quickly on emails. I contacted them regarding this and they replied within 15 minutes. This is not the only case, they approved my website within 3 hours of submission which shows it is an active ad network.
Their system works perfectly, they verify phone numbers and approval of website is necessary before you can start using their platform.
Signup And Approval:
To signup for an account on 1upAds ads, you need to fill up the registration form and submit it. Their registration form ask for website URL and your mobile/phone number, so, make sure to fill it properly because their automated machine calls you and tells you your verification pin that you will have to enter in the verification section to complete registration.
They say that they can take up to 10 days to approve/disapprove a website but in my case they approved my website within 3 hours.
Ad Formats:
1upAds offers only two ad formats, which are – Banner Ads and Pop Under Ads.
Stats Reporting System:
1upAds stats reporting system is good and shows all the necessary details which include impressions, clicks, CTR, money earned, and eCPM. It also provides separate graphs for daily earnings, impressions and clicks.
Their reporting system updates on hourly basis.
Minimum Payout:
The minimum payout on 1upAds is 25$.
Payment Frequency:
1upAds pays its publishers on monthly basis, they process payments between 1st and 5th of every month. Usually all payments are made on 1st. So, if you have reached your minimum payout on December then you will be paid between 1st and 5th of January.
Payment Options:
1upAds offers two payment options to its publishers, which are PayPal and Skrill.
Referral Program:
1upAds also offers a referral program where you can earn 5% commission on referrals earnings and spent amount for lifetime.
